Non RG logarithms via RG equations

چکیده
We compute complete leading logarithms in Φ4 theory with the help of Connes and Kreimer RG equations. These equations are defined in the Lie algebra dual to the Hopf algebra of graphs. The results are compared with calculations in parquet approximation. An interpretation of the new RG equations is discussed.

Renormalization group approach to a generalization of the law of iterated logarithms for one-dimensional (non-Markovian) stochastic chains 2004.3.6
Renormalization group (RG) is, roughly speaking, a dynamical system determined by a map which represents a response of (a set of random) objects in consideration to a change of accuracy of observation, or ‘scale transformation’, on a parameter space of generating functions of quantities defined on the objects. The method is expected to analyze the asymptotic behaviors and critical phenomena of ...
متن کاملAn analysis of the renormalization group method for asymptotic expansions with logarithmic switchback terms
The renormalization group method of Chen, Goldenfeld, and Oono offers a comprehensive approach to formally computing asymptotic expansions of the solutions to singular perturbation problems and multi-scale problems. In particular, the RG method applies to a broad array of problems customarily treated with disparate methods, such as the method of multiple scales, boundary layer theory, matched a...
متن کاملMulti-scale Renormalization
The standard MS renormalization prescription is inadequate for dealing with multi-scale problems. To illustrate this we consider the computation of the effective potential in the Higgs-Yukawa model. It is argued that it is natural to employ a two-scale renormalization group. We give a modified version of a two-scale scheme introduced by Einhorn and Jones. In such schemes the beta functions nece...
متن کاملThe structure of the invariant charge in massive theories with one coupling
Invariance under finite renormalization group (RG) transformations is used to structure the invariant charge in models with one coupling in the 4 lowest orders of perturbation theory. In every order there starts a RG-invariant, which is uniquely continued to higher orders. Whereas in massless models the RG-invariants are power series in logarithms, there is no such requirement in a massive mode...
متن کاملLie-Group Approach to Perturbative Renormalization-Group Method
The Lie-group approach to the perturbative renormalization group (RG) method is developed to obtain an asymptotic solutions of both autonomous and non-autonomous ordinary differential equations. Reduction of some partial differetial equations to typical RG equations is also achieved by this approach and a simple recipe for providing RG equations is presented.
